DN-Guard filters DNS requests and Layer 7 traffic against continuously-updated lists covering malware, phishing, spam domains, adult content, and category-based rules such as drugs, dating, gaming and social media. Categories can be customised to your household or company policy.
No. DN-Guard works alongside your existing router or firewall. You can choose a fully cloud-hosted option with zero hardware, a virtual instance, an onsite Mikrotik device we supply, or configure DN-Guard onto your own repurposed hardware.
Cloud-hosted and virtual options can be active within days. Onsite deployments depend on hardware delivery and network access. After go-live, we recommend a short learning period (typically 15–30 days) to fine-tune custom white/blacklist rules.
